Angie Stone is claiming that Bruno Mars is biting her style.
She claims the song, “Uptown Funk” is a remake of her group, The Sequence, song “Funk You Up”. However, she wants it to be clear that she isn’t bashing him, but he needs to show more respect. In other words, he needs to pay up.
The Sequence is in motion to taking this matter to the courts. The group is asking for a jury trial for an unknown amount. Furthermore, Angie’s lawsuit isn’t the first case against Bruno for the same song. Zapp and Roger Troutman made similar allegations back in September.
