LIANGELO BALL ALLEGEDLY ACCUSED OF SHOPLIFTING ?!?!
Lavar Ball once said “If you can’t afford it then you’re not a BIG BALLER”. So does this mean LiAngelo Ball is not a Big Baller? Currently, UCLA is in China as they are set to face Georgia Tech in an exhibition game but in recent news LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA teammates were arrested in China for shoplifting. According to ESPN, Ball and his teammates, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were apprehended by police for allegedly stealing a couple of items from the Louis Vuitton in Hangzhou China.
When asked about the situation involving his son, Big Baller Brand head LaVar Ball did not shy away from offering his thoughts. Ball told ESPN, “I’m going to wait until I get more intel on what’s going on. He’ll be fine. Everyone’s making it a big deal. It ain’t that big a deal.” It’s not a big deal, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott issued a statement saying otherwise. “We are very disappointed by any situation that detracts from the positive student-athlete educational and cultural experience that this week is about,” said Scott. He went on to say “Whether in the United States or abroad, we expect our student-athletes to uphold the highest standards. We will continue to closely monitor the situation.”
