DETAILS COMING SOON

An agreement for the records was reached prior to a court hearing in a lawsuit filed against Williams. Barson’s family wants to go over the records in order to find out if Williams was on the phone and distracted just prior to the crash.

According to Williams’ lawyers, they will turn over phone records that span a two-and-a-half hour period before and after the June 6 crash. Her lawyers say Williams was not distracted.

Barson’s wife, Linda who was driving, told police she had been approaching an intersection in her Hyundai Accent sedan when Williams’ Toyota SUV darted suddenly, causing Linda to T-bone her vehicle. Williams, however, claims she entered the intersection on a green light and had to stop in the middle due to a car in front of her who was attempting to turn. When she attempted to go, Williams’ light had turned red, which is when Barson who was driving around 25 miles per hour collided with Williams. The police report estimates that Williams was driving five miles per hour when the accident occurred.
