HE HAS BEEN GIVEN PROTECTION FOR HIS FINAL STINT IN PRISON! GET THE SCOOP INSIDE…

On the heels of O.J. Simpson’s parole hearing in Nevada, last week, he has returned to the public eye for the first time in close to a decade. The hearing was streamed live on a number of networks and has consumed much of the headlines in the news cycle since Thursday, July 20. And now that Simpson returns to Lovelock Correctional Facility to serve out the final three months of his shortened sentence, some of the inmates who saw just how much attention he received just might have gotten it in their minds that they could get a piece of the spotlight if they could get a piece of the NFL Hall of Famer, authorities believe.

In light of the unpredictable prospects that come with being an inmate of Simpson’s stature, it has been learned that the state has ordered Lovelock to take precautions that would ensure the protection of the former football star. Simpson is expected to be released in October, which is enough time, they believe, for someone behind bars with him to make a name for themselves by hurting Simpson. To the determination of authorities, there are enough unstable people who have nothing to lose between those prison walls.

According to reports, Simpson has already received some privileges afforded to him, with the biggest being his transition to the more subdued northeast Reno wing of the complex. While there have really been no further details on the move, it is expected that Simpson will receive monitoring from extra corrections officers and that the protection will continue to go wherever he goes when he hits the streets in the Fall.
