VOTING INFORMATION FOR GEORGIA’S 6TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT !Georgia Early Voting

Early in-person voting started yesterday in Georgia for the 6th Congressional District. May 30 was the kick off for official countdown to the June 20 runoff between Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff.

The nation watched the race to replace former U.S. Rep. Tom Price, who covers a district that includes parts of Cobb, DeKalb and Fulton counties.

Please call your local elections office to find early voting locations or look for the “advance voting info” link under the elections tab of the Secretary of State Office’s website (www.sos.ga.gov).

Don’t forget to bring photo identification:  Georgia driver’s license, even if it’s expired; a state-issued voter identification card; a valid U.S. passport; or a valid U.S. military photo ID.

For counties voting locations:

DEKALB COUNTY: Five locations will be open weekdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Tuesday through June 16. They will also open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.

FULTON COUNTY: Six locations will open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Tuesday through June 16. They will also open on two Saturdays, June 3 and 10.

COBB COUNTY: The first location is the county’s main election office in Marietta, which will open weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Tuesday through June 16. It will also open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.  The second location is the East Cobb Government Service Center on the eastern edge of the county.
