Russell Simmons announced his new his new series today called the “The Definitive History of Hip Hop.”
The series will document every phrase of Hip Hop’s evolution and is set to being production this year. As co-founder of Def Jam and one of the main people responsible for bringing Hip Hop of mainstream, Russell Simmons is the perfect person to produce this series and tell the story of hip hop.
The Definitive History of Hip Hop,” due to start production this year. The series will tell the “untold story of the birth” of hip-hop spanning from the early-’70s to today.
The series will feature “visual effects, archival footage, and celebrity interviews.
