LIL BOOSIE VISITS DALLAS SCHOOL AND SHINES LIGHT ON DIABETES!
Lil Boosie and celebrity friends such as Young Dolph visited Billy Earl Dade Middle school in Dallas Texas to shine light on those who are battling with diabetes. The purpose of the visit was to let those who are diabetic, that they are not alone and they shouldn’t feel embarrassed about it. Lil Boosie also stated “Basically, we are trying to encourage people with diabetes to eat right, you know, live better,” Boosie also says in a news report, conducted by WFAA ABC 8. “When I came home, I had kids coming up to me like “I got diabetes and you made me strong when I’m weak.’”
According to the Dallas ISD, there are about 183 children in the district under care for Type 1 Diabetes, while 123 other students receive in-school care for Type 2 Diabetes.
It is good to see the rapper going out and getting involved with the community, and letting others know that they aren’t alone, ad that there are celebrities out here who is experiencing the same thing as them. LiL Boosie wanted this to be an event where people could feel included and not excluded just because they are diabetic.
