RIP TO RASHAAN SALAAM!
Rahsaan Salaam, Former Heisman Trophy-winning running back, is dead at the age of 43.
Salaam was found dead Monday night in Boulder, Colorado. The same city where he played for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. Authorities did not report any signs of foul play.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed later this week.
Salaam won the Heisman Award in 1994. The same year the Buffaloes finished No. 3 in the finals. Salaam beat out players such as Steve McNair, Warren Sapp, and Kerry Collins to win the award.
He also won the Walter Camp Award that year, and the Doak Walker Award.The football team at Colorado tweeted about the loss of a great former Buff.
