Marvel film recently announced that Angela Bassett will be joining the cast for its upcoming Black Panther film, which is expected to release in 2018.
According to Deadline, Bassett will play the role of Ramonda, the mother to T’Challa, who is also known as the Black Panther. The role will be played by Chadwick Boseman.
The cast boasts other A-list actors, which include Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan to name a few.
Ryan Coogler will direct the film, as well as co-write the script with Joe Robert Cole
