WHAT DID HE SAY?

In 2014, YG released his debut album, “My Krazy Life,” and received a good reviews. After tours and the released of his sophomore album, “Still Brazy,” he is receiving criticism for what he said in his first album.

In his song, “Meet the Flockers,” YG raps, “First, you find a house and scope it out/ Find a Chinese neighborhood, cause they don’t believe in bank accounts.” The 2014 lyric is now an outrage in the Asian-American community in 2016. They feel that the song glamorizes robbery of Asian. Also, that the song provides steps in robbing them and their homes. This resulting them to protest at YG’s current tour stops.

There is currently an online petition with over 110,00 individual signatures, asking the White House to ban the song from the public.

No comments reported from YG on the current situation. So stay tuned for news and updates with Holiday Season Live & Streetz 94.5!!!
