FETTY WAP’S TRAP QUEEN GETS HIM INTO MORE TROUBLE THAN EXPECTED
Rap star turned into one of reality tv’s favs, Fetty Wap has become an even hotter topic. From becoming Masika Kalysha’s baby daddy, to now taking another massive hit to leading into a sophomore album. He’s now dealing with a lawsuit over “Trap Queen,” which dropped over two years ago.
According to TMZ, the songwriter named Lazar Lakic is going around saying that Fetty Wap took his beat without permission. It’s said that he bought exclusive rights from producer Tony Fadd for a 2014 track called “Hello.” Lakic also says that after “Trap Queen” became an undisputed commercial express, Tony Fadd called him to buy back the rights of that beat.
The songwriter said no, and claims that he never received any money from the success of “Trap Queen”. So now Lakic is suing Wap for profits, with the intention to “destroy all copies and stop all sales of “Trap Queen”.
